The latest version of SoundMaster is 1.8.5. This is identical to 1.8.4,
except that it is now freeware.
Note that there is NOT any support for OS8, much less MacOS 9. This means
that the zoom open and zoom closed sounds do not work, and the empty trash
sound does not work.
NOTICE: As of April, 2000, SoundMaster is a freeware program. This means
you don't have to send me money, because I don't have time to work on it any
more, and haven't had time for some time now. I do plan to make an open-source
release of it soon. However, it is NOT public-domain, just free. I'll
probably put it under an open-source license like GPL or LGPL after I release
a new version with the contact information changed.
